Day 35 & 36

Rest Day & FIT TEST #3

Those fit tests do not get easier.  I seriously feel like I may pass out and never wake up.  Deep inside my lungs I gasp for air but I am unable to get enough.  Poetic, no?  

I will say goodbye for the next few days as I'm heading off on a secret vacation.  No, seriously, it's a secret... even "I" do not know.

Today is the last day of Recovery Week.  I will have one fit test and then I'm off for a BIT to soak in the SUN.  Excited to meet month 2 upon my return.

Day 33

Today, I waited for this little guy to get home from school so that I could have a workout partner.  We had a LOT of fun pretending to throw punches at each other and seeing how high we could jump.  I was able to touch the ceiling.  Raise the ROOF.

Day 32

Forgot to post day 31... actually did it too.

Core Cardio & Balance

I did it!  "Did what?" you ask.  I did my workout by myself just as hard as I would if Hubby were in the room with me.  For this, I am proud.

I need to point out my awesome war wound.  It's no longer very big and it actually just looks like a cold sore or chapped lips.  But at the moment it happened I had a fat-ish lip and tasted blood.  HARD CORE.  Who needs lip injections when they can play soccer with sweaty men?

Day 30

Core Cardio & Balance

Today marks the half way point of Insanity.  I have been in this "I don't feel like completing this" mentality.  I really have to force myself to want to do the workouts.  Today I did the movements.  I sweat a little bit and was not into it.  The end of this workout makes me very happy though.  I was so happy to get to the balance section and I pushed through it hard.  I didn't think I had that in me today.

Day 29

Core Cardio & Balance

What a nice way to start off the week.  This workout is a pretty low key rest time.  It's cardio with a LOT of resting.  I enjoyed the last 10 minutes of balance exercising.  And I enjoyed working out with my exhausted son who just came back from hockey practice.

Day 27 & 28

Plyo Cardio Circuit

Tonight was another toughie.  I remember last time I did Insanity.  I assumed the workouts would get easier but they never did.  In fact, they got harder.  Once you know the routine, you have no excuse to stop and pretend you are trying to figure out what exactly they are doing.  DANG!  That really helped me out in the first week!

Day 27.  No skipped days or "altered" days.  Just me and my Insanity making me a perfect fit for the NUT HOUSE.

I'm still trying to figure out how to work my vacation into my Insanity.  I really don't like the idea of altering the workout so I think I'm going to keep it as is and then go on vacation when it comes.  This was, after all, the reason I got back into Insanity.  YES, that means I will skip days.  It kills me to say it.  UGH.  How will I deal with the guilt?  ;)
