I spent the last week in Moncton with paintbrush in hand. My in-laws purchased an older bungalo last year and it was in desperate need of a pick-me-up. I committed four days of my summer to work on their outdated house and was pleased with the outcome. I was able to choose paint colors and what went back into the room. If I had more time I would have tackled a few pieces of furniture as well.
Sadly, I was so excited to get to work that I forgot to take before pictures. I do however have pictures of the beginning stages of the process.
Before-ish
(At this stage the paneling had been primed and all the trim primed as well. Also the massive floor to ceiling retro drapes were removed that went from one wall to the other. YUCK!)
After-ish
(Carpet to be changed at owners will- hopefully SOON... ahem... I choose hardwood with a big beautiful area rug!!)
